Frontiers of Chinese New Materials

In order to complete the continuing education business work decided by the meeting of the chairman of the society, implement the relevant personnel training plan. On September 4, 2023, Secretary General Zhang Zengzhi and his team warmly received Director Niu Jiehong of the Education and Examination Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to visit and investigate, and the two sides exchanged views on jointly carrying out vocational skills improvement training projects in the industrial and information industry and reached a consensus on cooperation.In order to implement the Notice of The General Office of the State Council on Printing and Distributing the Action Plan for Vocational Skills Improvement (2019-2021), and in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Implementation Plan of the Action Plan for Industrial Communication Vocational Skills Improvement, the Department of Personnel and Education of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has collected a batch of basic skills enhancement training capabilities. Training programs with distinctive industry characteristics, which are urgently needed for industrial development, are currently waiting to be updated and supplemented.Whereas, the Chinese Society for Materials Research has 100,000 individual members, 58 second-level branches, and 10 journals, and the platform brings together well-known experts, scholars, business people and development strategy workers from all disciplines, fields and industries engaged in material science research, industrialization and application from universities, research institutes, enterprises and overseas institutions; Actively promote the development of China's new materials industry, has carried out a lot of effective work in academic, think tank, science popularization, industry, international exchanges, science and technology awards, personnel training, standard formulation and other aspects, has an important influence and cohesion at home and abroad, the two sides agreed to cooperate in the new materials industry to carry out vocational skills enhancement training projects. Priority is given to projects with urgent needs such as "dual carbon", "integrated circuit", "comprehensive ability improvement of science and technology management cadres and enterprise leaders", and then expand various fields of new materials, and implement high, middle and primary training of materials engineers.After this discussion and exchange, the two sides have found strong synergy in business. In the future, they will make use of their respective advantages to comprehensively explore cooperation points, focus on the key core technology research of the industry, industrial structure optimization and upgrading, accelerate digital development and other themes, pay attention to the coordination of theoretical learning and practical ability, and train technical skills talents urgently needed for industrial development. To help the country implement the strategic goal of becoming a strong country in science and technology and a strong country in talents in the new era.
